New Studio
In April of 2012 I moved into a new work space in the Wisteria Design wood shop on Capitol Hill in Seattle. _
It's a tiny but wonderful space above a professional wood shop where independent wood workers create and restore objects daily..

The Medium's Annual Artist's Fund
In March of 2012 I received the good news of having won a small grant from a local design firm called The Medium. They are located in North Bend and are art supporters, retaining a percentage of annual income to be given directly to an artist of their choice. Thank you Medium for your generosity! Your support is felt more than financially
Caldera Artists' Residency February 2012
The month of February in 2012 was spent at the Caldera Artists in Residence Program. It was something that I had wanted to do ever since I went on a backpacking trip in the vicinity several years prior. The eastern slopes of the Central Cascade Mountains in Oregon are a dramatic setting. The Caldera facilities bring contemporary architecture into them with well designed and built cabins, a generous and awe inspiring community building, and a relaxed but focused environment for visual artists, writers, musicians, and performers.
It was a fantastic first experience as a resident and I cant wait to do something like it again.
